The 3×4 Downspout Hinge is constructed from .040 galvanized steel and finished with a baked-on powder coat — the toughest paint finish available — for superior resistance to rust, corrosion, and the daily wear of outdoor exposure. Built to outlast standard painted finishes in demanding weather conditions year after year.

Each hinge now includes a color matched universal side latch that keeps the downspout extension raised and securely fastened when not in use — no extra hardware to source, no extra cost. The color matched finish keeps the installation looking clean and professional from every angle.

Note on Velcro Tabs: These hinges previously included velcro tabs as part of the package — those have since been discontinued. Velcro tabs are still available for purchase separately, though they are a more expensive add-on. Our recommendation — try the included locking tabs first. Most contractors find they work just as well for everyday downspout extension use.
